OOC ❦ Ginko's Inventory in CSA

He has his medicine box on him at most times, even keeping it near him while he sleeps. It looks rather like a boxy wooden backpack, and it’s sturdy enough for him to sit on as a makeshift seat if he likes. Its inside is full of small drawers to keep various items in.
Inside the medicine box he usually carries:
-empty bottles
-full bottles (usually of poisons or various medical liquids)
-a small jar of light-river water (if he’s not allowed to keep this he will just have an empty jar)
-various herbs (dried) used for medicines and for making his mushi cigarettes
-several mushi cigarettes (herbal cigarettes that do nothing but make his body inhospitable to the mushi, to help prevent him from getting sick)
-some bandaging
-maps of several parts of Japan. They mark various walking trails, paths of the light-river, homes of the ‘gods’ that guard various mountains and rivers, as well as whatever else Ginko has chosen to write on them.
-some scrolls picturing and talking about a few random mushi
-blank paper, some brushes, a small inkstone, a partially used ink stick and a couple of new ones
-a strange cocoon. It has seemingly no purpose since the creature inside of it has mysteriously vanished (mushishi mail system)
-a drawer of seemingly random clippings of hair, nails, and various mineral chunks tied up in paper wraps, as well as other random bric a brac. Part of his folk medicine schtick.
-a flint and iron
-a small bamboo wood box lined with straw, containing matches
-an extra change of clothes (shirt, pants, all the things you need. No socks)
-a large gauzy sheet almost like mosquito netting
-a small blanket
-a medium-sized knife in a wooden sheath
-some dried food and a small jar for water, partly full
He is also wearing the clothes on his back: a dark blue trench coat-like coat, a long sleeved shirt, trousers, shoes, etc. No socks.

His tattoos start on his face.

Over his lips there are what looks like black stitches, and tattooed on his actual tongue is the forked tongue of a snake.

Starting on the right side of his face, just under his eye, is a blood-red pattern. It is quite large; it could look like a macabre kind of lace, or some strange pattern of bloodspatter, or, quite possibly, if there was someone besides Cloud who would recognize them, the tiny shapes of various mushi (but mostly this kind). It slides down that half of his face, twisting to cover all of the front of his neck, the majority of his chest, and sliding down the tops of both arms to cover most of the backs of his hands. This shows through his clothing.

Between the forefinger and thumb of both hands there is a thick black X.

On his back are lash marks, and 'blood' is dripping from them (there will be blood showing through his shirts, corresponding with the marks, unless he puts on a sweater or a coat).

-The stitches are both because he smokes and because he's been known to tell lies
-The snake tongue is also for lying, but also because he tricks people too (which can be slightly different from lying, in some cases)
-The lace/bloodspatter/mushi pattern is mostly because he once turned a girl (who was already half-mushi) into a full mushi, because she wanted him to. He felt terribly guilty about it afterward. They're also because of all the mushi he's killed over the years ~~including the effing creepy mushi-children~~, and while that's hardly a sin many others would recognize, I wanted to do it anyway.
-The X's are from stealing stuff. I don't care if it was your 'fee' or if it was mushi-infested or whatever, Cloud, it was still stealing stuff.
-The lash marks are from breaking the greatest taboo of the mushishi--I'll not say more, because spoilers. But suffice it to say that if he'd ever been found out, lash marks would have probably been the least of his worries.
