❦ 22nd Record

[[ooc: Slightly backdated to the morning of Feb. 15.]]

I'm finally myself again. Well, I was always myself, but I'm not a child anymore.

[Slight pause] The fish is still following me.

Lezard-san, Locket-san--as long as nothing else ends up happening, I'll start coming in to work on my normal schedule again.

"The fish"? "Following" you? Sounds like you're having a rather interesting month.

[identity profile] crimson-seeker.livejournal.com 2011-02-17 03:44 pm (UTC)(link)
He's just trailing you? Not doing anything? I reckon that's not the oddest thing I've seen in this place, but I'd still count it plenty strange.

[identity profile] crimson-seeker.livejournal.com 2011-02-17 04:11 pm (UTC)(link)
You could have it worse, friend. Or do other people understand him, too?

aaand now we can proceed almost as before

[identity profile] crimson-seeker.livejournal.com 2011-02-17 09:23 pm (UTC)(link)
That's the story of my life, friend. At least if you replace the fish with a dragon.

[identity profile] crimson-seeker.livejournal.com 2011-02-17 10:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Guess it's lost its novelty by now, but yeah, it was at first.

[identity profile] crimson-seeker.livejournal.com 2011-02-17 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Since last autumn. He's not exactly like the animal companions people seem to be sporting lately, but I reckon the experience is similar.

[identity profile] crimson-seeker.livejournal.com 2011-02-18 09:21 pm (UTC)(link)
No harm done.

I suppose so. Mostly he keeps me company, but he's proved useful a few times as a guide or scout. [Being evasive here as the truth is best not told on the journals.]

[identity profile] crimson-seeker.livejournal.com 2011-02-19 09:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Can't or won't? I have one fellow Guard who leaves hers at home, apparently.

[identity profile] crimson-seeker.livejournal.com 2011-02-19 09:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Interesting. I'm starting to feel fortunate Fuu sometimes leaves for a day or two.

[identity profile] of-mindelan.livejournal.com 2011-02-16 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm glad.

Things aren't as unsettled now, but we could still use you.

[identity profile] of-mindelan.livejournal.com 2011-02-17 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
It must have been frustrating. What's it like, being a kid?

[identity profile] of-mindelan.livejournal.com 2011-02-17 02:31 am (UTC)(link)
Do you think your fish would scout? I have a talking lion, but she says she's too old for that kind of thing.

[identity profile] of-mindelan.livejournal.com 2011-02-17 04:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess not. It was a thought.

It's good to have you back, anyway.

[identity profile] feathered-earth.livejournal.com 2011-02-17 01:17 am (UTC)(link)
That's good.

...is it a nice fish?

[identity profile] feathered-earth.livejournal.com 2011-02-17 08:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Try telling him to go jump in a lake.

[identity profile] feathered-earth.livejournal.com 2011-02-17 08:56 pm (UTC)(link)
[JUST AS KEIKAKU.]

You should find out next time he starts making helpful remarks.

[identity profile] wayofflowers.livejournal.com 2011-02-17 07:10 pm (UTC)(link)
It will be good to see you around again.

[identity profile] wayofflowers.livejournal.com 2011-02-17 08:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I did not see you at work, so I assumed you were busy with this latest round of nonsense.

Shall we reschedule?

[identity profile] wayofflowers.livejournal.com 2011-02-17 08:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Certainly - I have no plans at the moment.

[identity profile] wayofflowers.livejournal.com 2011-02-17 09:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Perfectly fine. I look forward to it.
