Oh, what's this I hear about Captain Locket having a mishap? :) [has been being nosy and isn't really all that concerned, just curious]

I don't know much myself, I just saw the entry where she stopped writing abruptly, and what Compass wrote.

Ah, I see. I haven't been paying too much attention to the journals past few days anyway, as I'm sure you're well aware. No excuse really, but haven't done much backtracking either. Well let's just hope she's okay. Can't have the Captain being out of commission. That would be most unfortunate. :)

I flipped through my journal a little right after I recovered, and that entry caught my eye. [Pause. Something about the words seems off... are they the kind of words a kid would use? He isn't sure] Yeah, hopefully Bridge will be able to fix her.

[He would have questioned Snake's calling Bridge a 'kid', but the question distracts him--but he hasn't forgotten it. Filing it away for now...]

I was wondering about those. [A slight pause; he wasn't hit, but he's taking a moment to observe the trajectory of the balls and see if he can't figure out where they're coming from.] No idea. Could be the Tree is up to it's usual tricks already; otherwise, whoever's throwing them is too fast for me to spot them.
