The memories are shadows, ink on the page

Looks like I won't be able to meet up with my team in the Wilderness after all. This thing chose a fine time to act up.

[A slight pause.]

I don't know how long I'll be gone, so if someone could keep an eye on my ca--[A jagged smear of ink, followed by a blurry paw print.]

...Nevermind.

[[ooc: He'll reply to some comments, but eventually drop his journal as the elevator throws him out on the 4th floor.]]

[The handwriting is recognizably Cloud's.]

I'm told that this book is used for communication. I don't understand how, but looking back through it, I'm inclined to believe it.

I'm also told that my name is Cloud. News to me, but since I don't remember any other name, it'll do.

Since the people who told me those things seemed to be too busy to answer any more questions, anyone else feel like doing it?

Cloud spent today just sort of... wandering around ES aimlessly, so it's possible he ran into various people throughout the day. If you want to say he ran into your character, that's cool. Just make a note of it in the tag or something /handwaves]
