A little--I was gone for two and a half weeks, and there was some kind of attack. Anything else important happen?

One of the mystery writers had something to say. [And she didn't pay much attention. Of course it's a test; that's the point of the Ordeal.] Someone important to the Watch died - [pause] Handmaiden, that was it.

Some of us are trying to clean up after the remains of our attackers. Most of it's frozen.

First part wasn't so bad, then it got worse. At least it was something we could really fight against, not like random fires breaking out or severe weather.
